The Guardians of Transportation, officially named the Guardians of Traffic, are eight large Art Deco sculptures on the Hope Memorial Bridge (formerly the Lorain-Carnegie Bridge) in Cleveland, Ohio. They were erected in 1932.

Designed by architect Frank Walker and sculpted by Henry Hering, the Guardians stand on four 43-foot-tall sandstone pylons at each end of the bridge. Each Guardian holds a different mode of ground transportation, symbolizing the progress of transportation over time. The vehicles depicted are a hay wagon, a covered wagon, a stagecoach, a 1930s-era automobile, and four types of motorized trucks.

While their official name is Guardians of Traffic, they are commonly referred to as Guardians of Transportation due to what they represent.

They have become an iconic symbol of Cleveland.

Testimonials

"I've been enjoying Mike's photos online for years. His photos have a way of making things very familiar to me more beautiful than I remember. They bring me a lot of joy. He helps me appreciate the beauty around here. I finally own one of "Tree Farm Trail" photos; now I have the beauty in my home. Mike takes an ordinary, familiar landscape and makes it absolutely beautiful."
